    Message says the document is too wide for output however the document is smaller than the output, max size 24×36,. I’m having to convert the document to a TIF format to print when it wouldn’t print as a PDF. of the available options or to type a custom resolution (266 pixels/inch, for example). enter image description here.

    As error message says, “The image is too wide to output. Please crop it or reduce resolution and try again” seems this must be causing issue with a specific PDF
    Voted Best Answer. Edit Answer (for another -20 minute) The problem is that when the PDF is large the tiff image produced will have more pixels than is allowed by the TIFF standard. If you use settings and set the Resolution to something reasonable, like 300 dpi, instead of Determine Automatically it will work.
