I am new to gnuplot linux based plotting tool. I am trying to plot data from multiple data files and I want each plot to be open in a Can someone tell me how to plot multiple plots in separate window in gnuplot? I could not find the answer in
I’ve outputted a gnuplot file called out.data as a plain text file. I have downloaded and install gnuplot but I can’t seem to figure out how to open it. gnuplot > plot out.data. But it gives me an error undefined variable: out. I have tried the following commands without success pipe a command to gnuplot as if in gnuplot command promt. Default terminal is ‘x11’ unless defined otherwise i.e. for windows: import PyGnuplot as gp gp.default_term = ‘wxt’.

Gnuplot is a free, command-driven, interactive, function and data plotting program. Pre-compiled executeables and source code for Gnuplot 4.2.4 may be downloaded for OS X, Windows, OS2 Click on this link, and the Gnuplot window should open. Instructions for installing on OS X are here.
Internationalization (locale settings): Gnuplot uses the C runtime library routine setlocale() to control locale-specific formatting of input and output number gnuplot 4.2 199 and the level of support for locale features such as ” thousands’ grouping separator ” , depend on the internationalization support
