    Amongst numerous system errors, ‘boot device not found error’ is the most common problem faced by computer users. The BIOS accesses certain files from the bootable device, a.k.a. hard disk. But when the hard drive is not accessible, ‘boot device not found 3F0 error’ pops on the computer screen.
    BIOS disk read error. Thread starter neil.vyas. Processor – Intel Core i5-3570K Motherboard – Gigabyte GA-H77-DS3H RAM – Corsair Vengeance 8GB @ 1600 MHz GPU – Nvidia 8600 Initially, I tried using the iBoot Ivy Bridge disk. When trying to boot from it, I get this error on the screen
    “A disk read error occurred. Press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart”. He was more worried about the data stored Restart the system and keep tapping the setup key (try F2 or Delete key; refer user manual to know You can run various tests after booting your system using a Memtest86 bootable USB drive. Seems to work well, but whenever I insert the USB drive into my PC and power on, the Post screen displays and hangs there. Keyboard is dead, system will sit there forever with the Post screen displayed. If I hold F12 during power on and go to the select Boot drive screen, I get 4 choices for USB.
