Vermeer baler monitor – posted in Machinery: Bought a used vermeer rancher 665. Got it thursday and looked at the monitor to it closer and it has on the bottom of it written in the id area model number 605sm and serial number does not match. Contacted dealer but have not heard back from them yet.
If you could find some one in your area that had the Vermeer L or XL baler with a correctly functioning monitor and just run a test bale or 2 then you’ll know if it is the monitor. Since Vermeer has gone to the Accu-bale style monitor, many dealers will likely build a test stand. But the problem has been the monitors have been changing with
