To being with the brand is a food and beverage company that is located in Lindon, Utah. It has spelt the past few years developing its prized product, the Crio Bru coffee.
I have tried many coffee substitutes but am always on the look out for one that tastes like coffee, since trying Crio Bru a few months back I can say that this is the closest and healthiest coffee substitute I have tasted. I love many flavours but the one that is the closest to coffee I find is the Cavalla French Roast.

– Ecuador Light Roast (this one) is light-bodied. It smells chocolatey, sweet, and floral out of the pack. When you brew it, it is the least bitter of all the Crio Bru options. Refreshing, you could even drink it on its own. Good for those looking for a subtle chocolate taste and a light, tea-like texture. – Venezuela Medium Roast.

I brewed one cup and before even taking a sip, I was immediately turned off by the funky smell, but I decided to try it anyway. Thinking I did something horribly wrong, I dumped the first cup, reread the brewing instructions, and gave it another go—again resulting in the same “brothy” results.
