    The Windows Temp folder (C:WindowsTemp) is using 192 GB of space on one of my Windows 7 machines. There are 1500+ files (example = cab_8388_7, cab_9060_2, etc ) that are about 127 MB each. Can these files just be deleted to free up the space?
    The solution indicates I am supposed to “remove the temporary files that Windows uses to identify updates for your computer.” To remove them it simply says, “delete the temporary update files,” but it does not indicate how or where to do this. On my windows update screen there is no indication of where the temporary files are at.
