    Olympus has fitted the Stylus XZ-10 with a nice and fast 5x zoom f/1.8 lens, which closes down to just f/2.7 at the telephoto end. Like the earlier versions of XZ compact cameras from Olympus (the XZ-1 and XZ-2), the XZ-10 model features a full set of manual controls, as well as a rotating ring around the lens element.
    Is it possible to manually zoom the lens on the XZ-10? I really dislike cameras with power zoom – find zoom hard to control.
