Centrifugal pumps are dynamic pumps which move fluids through a system using one or more impellers. They are the most common type of pump because of the simplicity and effectiveness of their design and operation. Because they are the most familiar, they also tend to cost less than other types
Working principle of centrifugal pump defines it converts the mechanical energy into hydraulic energy by means of a centrifugal force acting on the fluid. Priming is the operation in which the suction pipe, casing of the pump and a portion of the pipe up to the delivery valve is completely filled up from
SAHorizontal self-priming centrifugal pumpsThe pumps is used for many applications, for example: • Bilge pumps• Ballast pumps• Fire pumps• Cooling water pumps• Wash-deck pumps• Fuel pumps• Wellpoint pumps• Irrigation pumps• Circulation pumps• Etc.
These Horizontal multi-stage centrifugal pumps are of Single Suction, non-self priming type. The impellers are of radial flow design and are balanced to handle hydraulic axial thrust. Pump shaft is supplied by roller contact or sliding bearings, and balancing plate is provided to withstand axial force
We produce our pumps in Italy, because we still believe in the quality of our people. Moreover, each single product undergoes full production testing, to verify the quality standard of each item. Self-priming centrifugal pump with open impeller.
Pump Pump is a machine that imparts energy to the liquid”. Why Pumps are Required? Move liquids from lower elevation to higher elevation; Move Impeller Impeller is the heart of Centrifugal Pump It rotates the liquid mass with the peripheral speed of its vane tips. The whirling movement of Impeller
Centrifugal Pumps are the most popular and commonly used type of pump for the transfer of fluids. Centrifugal Pumps are useful since they can generally handle large quantities of fluids, provide very high flow rates (which may vary with the changes in the Total Dynamic Head (TDH) of the particular Centrifugal pumps are used to transport fluids by the conversion of rotational kinetic energy to the hydrodynamic energy of the fluid flow. The rotational energy typically comes from an engine or electric motor. They are a sub-class of dynamic axisymmetric work-absorbing turbomachinery.
ANDRITZ self-priming centrifugal pumps achieve high priming and degassing performance thanks to the integrated vacuum pump. With its semi-open impeller, the pump is designed for transporting solids-containing or viscous media.

If you want to start a centrifugal pump by switching it On, it will not start delivering water promptly. It is due to the fact initially inside the casing

Always fill the pump with water or the liquid being pumped before starting the drive unit. Make certain that all hose and pipe connections are airtight. An air leak in the suction line may prevent priming and will reduce the performance of the pump.
