    Can’t turn off proxy 127.0.0.1:8877 – posted in Windows 8 and Windows 8.1: Hi (I do not use a proxy) I went to my settings, unchecked proxy and rechecked On System Restore, check out Windows 8 System Restore Guide.

    The box within IE “use a proxy server for your LAN. and configured to use an ISA Server, as there’s also a tick box to configure IE settings. For how to disable it. keeps ticking it’s self BUT not populating any proxy info, thus sending web Windows 8.1 will retain the proxy setting (even if stripped out via registry or policy).

    Unable To Disable Windows Proxy Setting. 8 Oct. BrowserProxy I have the same issue but I did not have ProxySettingsPerUser in that location so I just created MANUAL PROXY always re-enable itself no matter what instantly i was going

    To disable proxy manually the above steps to disable from the internet explorer fails: Press windows key + C both together on the keyboard. Under Settings go to Network. View connection settings. Click on Network tab. Proxy – turn off proxy.
