    So I bought the Asus AC1900 to extend the range of the AC5300. Big mistake. The latest firmware is buggy as hell, both on 5300 and 1900 model. As for the AIMesh, I was never able to have the two routers talking to each other despite following precisely the procedure from the ASUS website and manual.
