.All in all a pretty good little drum machine for the money. However I bought mine without a manual, and can’t seem to figure out how to save patterns, and drum kits. Whenever I turn it off everything resets to the original presets. Maybe it’s an internal battery problem.

A great drum machine! I love my new Boss DR-880 drum machine. I love that you can chain the patterns into a song sequence. I also love my Boss DR-660 with its “roll” and “flam” buttons, but the DR-880 “ghost” note function makes it really, really sound like a REAL drummer!

It is simple to use, provided you have (like me) got used to working with this type of machines. Having had a pass by the Boss DR-550 for several years, I found the speed of Fast Fashion a pattern (less than 20 seconds) than the 660. The edition of the sounds is actually quite simple, they remind me greatly 550.

Drum machine very easy to use, you can easily switch the manual! the pads are fun to use. one could say that given its size it is a drum pocket! in my case, I enmenais in high school when I was a bushel, and I developed my patterns when I had time. very playful.
