    I am planning to purchase the 48″ Edge 540T EXP from Extreme Flight. They recommend the Torque 2814T/820 motor with an Airboss 45A ESC. I plan on flying it setup for sport/pattern using a 4S battery. My question: Does anyone recommend a comparable motor and ESC to the ones sold by Extreme

    Hobbies & Crafts · 1 decade ago. Extreme flight Edge 540T electric? Trying to set up control throws according to manual for 3D flight. The throws for aileron and elevator should be 45 degrees but I can’t get the servos to throw that much, anybody out there had and overcome this problem.

    If you are looking for an Edge 540 which really deserves that name, you’re right at CARF Models once again! All tail surfaces are especially checked for an extreme light weight build due to the critical CG situation with the forward swept wing of any Edge 540.
