Hey guys I want to know your opinion on this. I can get both for about similar prices used in the UK. Minitaur for ?340, and Slim Phatty forRead Sweetwater customer reviews for Moog Minitaur Analog Bass Synthesizer. Unless u plan on getting a Sub phatty or a Sub 37, this is the best bass sound out there. and it dang cheep for what u get. . After hooking up the unit to my favorite midi controller, I read the instructions carefully, Taurus 3 vs the Minitaur.
I was at a local music store and got to try out the Moog Sub Phatty. Just look at the manual, pages 26-37 are all hidden functions! didn’t like the oscillators quite as much as on my Minitaur) but I’d definitely go for the 37 if I had it to do again.
