The actual surface temprature of the rad is decided by the boiler thermostat, perhaps when turning the boiler off and back on you may have set the boiler thermostat at a higher temperature.
Q: We have Westherm TRV put in around 1992 when the house was built. I am assuming g that the Westherm adaptor PK21 hand screws( gently tightend) over the top of the one existing in the brass valve? Then the Myson TRV replacement head can be fitted on top of the new adaptor.
